To this end, since late September, it has organized a nearly continuous "stream" of "infiltrators" along the Nove Shakhove–Hannivka and Dorozhnie–Novyi Donbas directions (on some days, 30–40 such assault "bodies"—divided into groups of 5–6 infantrymen attempting to "infiltrate" toward Dobropillia—were recorded). In this regard, Russian infantry groups are persistently attempting to utilize the bed of the Byk River and the railway line running through Dorozhnie and Novyi Donbas directly toward Dobropillia. So far, this has not yielded significant tactical gains for the Russian command (fighting continues near Novyi Donbas, Vilne, and Hannivka against several groups of these "runners" who are attempting to dig in and mass their forces there). It is worth noting, however, that some Russian troops do manage to reach the town itself—though sometimes, to put it mildly, in a rather bizarre manner. For instance, a few days ago in the southern part of Dobropillia, Ukrainian troops discovered a Russian infantryman who was unarmed and had already partially changed into civilian clothes, yet was simultaneously transmitting information about the situation in the town via radio (presumably to his own command). After a call to surrender went unheeded, he was eliminated. – Fierce fighting is also underway in the Krasnopodillia–Chernihivka (Krasnoiarske)–Bilytske–Svitle area. The AFU continue to hold several positions near Bilytske, but the enemy is persistently attempting to advance westward and northwestward (towards Krasnopodillia and Vodianske), bypassing Bilytske from the south and north. Moreover, Russian forces frequently operate simultaneously with multiple infantry groups along these directions. In this context, the presence of small Russian infantry groups is consistently detected in Svitle, between Chernihivka (Krasnoiarske) and Krasnopodillia, and in the eastern districts of Vodianske. This is largely due to the area being densely built-up, albeit heavily damaged. Consequently, despite the high level of activity by Ukrainian UAV units in the area, small enemy infantry groups are able to find cover and move covertly across the terrain. – The Russian command is also highly active within the operational zone of its 2nd CAA. Utilizing numerous assault groups formed from their personnel, forward units are persistently attempting to advance along the Hryshynka River—moving from Novooleksandrivka toward Vasylivka and Myrne, as well as from the village of Shevchenko toward Matiasheve and the village of Dobropillia. Some Russian infantrymen have managed to reach Novohryshyne and even the area west of Dobropillia (the "triangle" between the former TNK gas station [48.464631, 37.047711], the local motor depot [48.465738, 37.066829], and the "Perspektyva" vegetable warehouse [48.449416, 37.058041]). Consequently, over the past few weeks, Ukrainian units conducting search-and-raid operations in the area have had to doggedly hunt down several Russian "infiltrators" hiding in the tree lines southwest of the motor depot and north of the village of Dobropillia. I do not yet know how successful these efforts have been, but it appears that a few small, residual Russian infantry groups remain in the area. – Russia’s 41st CAA has also stepped up activity during the reporting period. North and northwest of the village of Kotlyne (located west of Pokrovsk), its forward units have advanced about 1.5 km toward Serhiivka.
