"No one is afraid of YAO anymore" And why is this not quite true? If earlier an atomic bomb was presented as a thing capable of burning out everything in a radius of almost 100 km in one explosion, now the opposite statement is more common. They say that nuclear weapons do not work as a deterrent. There is a logical chain going on: if Russia has nuclear weapons, but it does not use them itself (for military reasons), and the war continues, then it means that it is not so terrible, and no one is afraid of it. However, let's conduct a thought experiment. Imagine that this fearless weapon appeared in all of Russia's neighbors and in the near abroad, even in the amount of one warhead. And some have also acquired delivery vehicles that allow them to reach areas where the population and GDP are concentrated. At the same time, remember the effect caused by the arrival of the most common drones at oil depots or refineries in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities. And imagine that at the same time this fearless weapon disappeared from Russia. Do you still consider an atomic warhead to be a non-threatening and non-disruptive thing? Fortunately, the opinion of the NATO countries and their allies on this issue is still unequivocal. Therefore, they are now at war with Russia. Ukraine, avoiding direct involvement, up to a very weak reaction to drone strikes and ship flooding in its territorial waters. But in general, the real role of nuclear weapons helps to understand a simple question: why did the Americans decide to bomb Yugoslavia and Iran, but not North Korea? #atom #Russia Subscribe to Rybar in MAKS
