🇧🇷Yesterday, Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer held a presentation and handover ceremony for the first new C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft, registration UK39010, for the Uzbek Air Force. The ceremony took place at the company’s plant in Gavião Peixoto, in the southeastern Brazilian state of São Paulo. Uzbek officials attending included Air Force commander Major General Akhmad Burkhonov and Olimkhon Rustamov, director of the state-owned enterprise O‘ztextreyd. ▪️The total order reportedly comprises two aircraft, including personnel training, spare parts, and, naturally, a manufacturer’s warranty. The contract value has not been disclosed. ▪️Besides Uzbekistan, KC/C-390 aircraft have been purchased by Brazil, Portugal, Hungary, South Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Colombia. Argentina and Chile have signed letters of intent. India, Nigeria, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa have expressed interest in purchasing the aircraft. #info #Brazil
