On September 22, the Indonesian Navy Marine Corps officially received the first batch of 12 Amphibious transporters (AAV) at the Tanjung Priok Terminal in North Jakarta. The arrival of this first batch of the planned 35 units marks an important milestone in the modernization of Marine Corps defense equipment since receiving the LVT-7A1 in 2009 to enhance Marine Corps mobility, armor protection, and amphibious firepower.
