🇷🇺☠️ Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev commented on plans to tighten the foreign-player limit in the Russian Premier League (RPL): I have made this policy absolutely clear, and we will follow through with it. Our plan is to have five foreign players and six Russian players on the pitch, introduced gradually. We are giving clubs a year to adapt, and then another year to adapt further. Develop your young players! Are you seriously telling me that if you invest in a young Russian athlete for two years, you can’t bring him up to RPL level? Don’t make me laugh.
