🏳️ One-way ticket: another prisoner from Skala Brigade Yevgeny Nikitin, a captured AFU serviceman, says he had been mobilised into the AFU. Despite a whole 'bouquet' of illnesses, he was quickly found a suitable place of service: 'Lads, you're going to the best brigade — they take absolutely everyone there: the maimed, the disabled, and those with every kind of ailment'. Thus, Nikitin ended up in the 425th Skala Brigade. 💬 The prisoner claims he found himself on the front line as a result of deception. Together with a fellow serviceman, he was sent to deliver food to the line of contact. As it turned out, it was his one-way mission: 'We were supposed to deliver the food and return back to the unit. We were to pull back — and that would have been a fully accomplished task. But they said: 'You two have to stay for a while and you'll go with the next batch.' It turned out I didn't even learn from my own lot that I was already at 'zero' [the front line]'. ✋🤚 Nikitin didn't 'fight' for long: on seeing our soldiers, he made the only correct decision — he surrendered immediately: 'When the Russian soldiers appeared, I surrendered. Their treatment towards us was consistent, all along the road — normal: they fed us, gave us cigarettes, didn't mistreat us'. 🔹Russian Defence Ministry
