🇷🇺🤜🇺🇦 Traffic chaos in Kiev following overnight strikes by jet-powered Geran drones on bridges across the Dnieper, resulting in the closure of three bridges connecting the two banks. The bridges sustained no serious damage, but the drone impacts themselves force local authorities to close traffic and inspect the impact sites, causing widespread congestion in the capital. In this case, the tactic involves prolonged closures through repeated drone strikes rather than the complete destruction of the crossings. Ukrainian forces used a similar approach during summer strikes on bridges between Crimea and the Kherson Region. Those crossings, however, were less robust and could also be seriously damaged. #info #Geran
