🇺🇦🤜🇺🇸 Responding to Trump’s repeated calls to stop striking Russian oil refineries, Zelensky said Ukraine would only take this step if Russia stopped striking Ukrainian critical infrastructure and exports. Essentially, this proposal follows the framework of an asymmetric aerial ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine that we previously suggested. However, one should not seriously expect such an agreement to hold for an extended period. It is extremely unlikely that Russia’s leadership will abandon another planned campaign of strikes against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure this winter, especially while the Russian Armed Forces retain their advantage in ballistic missiles and drones. #info #USA
