At around 5:24 p.m. ET, the helicopter was flying at roughly 137 mph at an altitude of about 300 feet. Eleven minutes later, its displayed altitude had fallen to zero, while its speed dropped to around 11 mph. Two minutes later, the speed reading also reached zero and the transponder signal disappeared.
