🇷🇺🤜🇺🇦 Ukraine no longer has a steel industry as a result of Russian strikes, Alexander Vodoviz, head of the CEO’s office at the mining and metallurgical group Metinvest, told the Financial Times. According to Vodoviz, the strikes deliberately targeted the blast furnaces at Metinvest’s Zaporozhstal and Kamet-Stal plants, as well as the ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog steelworks. They knew everything about the plants. They knew exactly where to strike. Ballistic missiles targeted the blast furnaces at three plants, including two belonging to Metinvest and the ArcelorMittal plant in Zelensky’s hometown of Krivoy Rog. Right now, we have no idea how long repairs will take: days, weeks, months or years. Vodoviz complained.
