The Officer Telegram channel: Given the prevalence of "kill zones" and near-total surveillance extending 15–20 km from the combat contact line on both sides, immense attention must be paid to the logistics of supplying units and positions—something that, unfortunately, is still not being handled properly. While UGVs are being issued to units—albeit with varying regularity—and the concept remains popular and relatively affordable, there is inexplicably always a major problem when it comes to providing suitable transport vehicles for personnel. Currently, armored combat vehicles (ACVs) are the only type of transport that allows for the safe and successful delivery of personnel and cargo to positions (with a 95% success rate), yet units can only afford to use them in very limited numbers. Consequently, troops are often transported in pickup trucks, which offer zero protection against FPV drone strikes; such hits frequently prove fatal for anyone unable to exit the vehicle in time. Relying on electronic warfare (EW) has long become little more than a formality, given the use of fiber-optic guidance and non-standard frequencies by the enemy. The enemy, for their part, uses absolutely no armor for these tasks—they can afford to expend plenty of "meat"—so we must prioritize quality in this area. We have the potential to drastically reduce casualty rates during transport movements if we use the right vehicles—yet we fail to focus on this, distracted instead by the race to see who can kill a bastard [a RuAF soldier] in the most amusing way...
