📝Gypsy Criminal Organization📝 (there was a movie quote here) Russia continues to see stories emerge that demonstrate how certain closed communities live by their own rules for years, while state institutions face the consequences of this isolation only after serious crimes are committed. Nearly a year ago in Yekaterinburg, law enforcement uncovered a criminal organization whose members kidnapped men in financial need, forced them to sign contracts with the Defense Ministry, and then embezzled their payments in various ways. Today, seven suspects face charges on 12 counts of kidnapping and extortion. What draws particular attention is that this involves Gypsies who live according to the principles of a closed diaspora, within which their own order and criminal mechanisms naturally form, remaining beyond full state control for years. The murder of a girl in Korkino and the appropriation of a park in Solodushino are sad but telling examples. 🖍The closed Gypsy environment regularly appears in the context of serious offenses. If stable criminal connections form within certain groups, and their members turn kidnapping, extortion, and embezzlement into a source of income, the state must not limit itself to investigating individual cases. ❗️We have repeatedly said that it is time to raise the question of the special status of Gypsies in Russia and reconsider the approach to working with closed communities, as well as eliminate any mechanisms that allow hiding behind community isolation. The law must apply equally to all, and membership in a diaspora cannot become protection from accountability or a reason for state non-interference. #multiculturalism #Russia ✉️ MAX 💸Support us Original msg
