🇷🇺 A brief examination by the recipients of the onboard computer from a Geran-4 jet-powered UAV, recovered from a drone found in Poltava Region. This version was also equipped with the Susanin ("Сусанин") electro-optical system. The onboard computer consists of eight stacked circuit boards containing electronic components. All bear the AL marking, indicating manufacture in Alabuga. ALAK03 is the navigation board. It receives and processes satellite signals. Indicators on the board show the status of satellite navigation, position, speed, time and heading. The G-series computing modules are used to switch electrical circuits. The recipients note that they could not identify exactly which devices were connected to their outputs. The G102 interconnection board links all the units. It has separate connectors for the G-series boards and connects them to the controller’s external multipin connectors. Some components are foreign-made, including American parts. Texas Instruments is the most widely represented manufacturer. Assuming monthly production of 3,000 Geran-4 and Geran-5 jet-powered UAVs, TI could receive around €1.4 million per month. This estimate uses retail prices, which could be substantially lower for bulk buyers. The final conclusion is discouraging: sanctions are not particularly effective, allowing millions of Western-made electronic components to be purchased for drones every month. #info #electronics #Geran #EW #radar
