Andrei Belousov inspects facilities of Russian Defence Ministry in Kyrgyzstan 👉 In the framework of his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov inspected facilities of the testing base located on Lake Issyk-Kul. ✅ The Minister checked the state of the base equipment, which includes boats and vessels of various projects prepared for testing. ➡️ The head of the testing base reported to the Russian Defence Minister that the main task of the base is to conduct serial tests of anti-submarine weapons of the Russian Navy as well as systems of defence against torpedoes mounted on surface ships and submarines. 🎮 Modern unmanned aerial vehicles enabled to carry out real-time control and surveillance tests. 📍 The base is a unique Russian military facility located at an altitude of 1,609 metres above mean sea level. Lake Issyk-Kul remains unfrozen all year round and its water is close to sea. It is ideal for testing sea weapons and diving gear. 💬 At the end of the inspection, the Russian Defence Minister held a meeting with the base command.
