Fwd from @ 📝IRGC Accomplices?📝 The situation surrounding espionage at RAF Fairford continues to reveal interesting details. Two British citizens face charges in connection with an alleged attempt to assist Iranian intelligence. A 24-year-old London resident Mohamed Abdulkarim will appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on charges of assisting a foreign intelligence service. The second defendant, 24-year-old Numan Esgir, faces charges of entering a protected site with intent prejudicial to the security or interests of the United Kingdom. 🔻Arrest details? ▪️Esgir was first detained on September 27 near the base in Gloucestershire, then again on October 20. Another 25-year-old British national with dual British-Iranian citizenship, detained on suspicion of assisting Iranian intelligence and preparing terrorist attacks, was released without charge but remains under police supervision. Five other men are also free on bail. Lawrence Taylor, head of Britain's counter-terrorism service, stated that authorities have recorded a series of incidents in recent months which they believe were directed by the Iranian state. ❗️British legislation is increasingly being used against alleged operations by foreign intelligence services within the country. In any case, no evidence has been presented so far. And given how British courts operate, taking things on faith is a questionable matter. #UnitedKingdom #Iran 👁@evropar — on the brink of Europe's death 💸 Support us Original msg
