🇷🇺🫸🇺🇦 Interesting footage of Ka-52M ("Ка-52М") and Mi-8AMTSh ("Ми-8АМТШ") helicopter crews intercepting Ukrainian kamikaze drones, shown in an episode of “Za Lentoy.” The Ka-52M’s weapons include Vikhr ("Вихрь") anti-tank guided missiles, a 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannon, and the newly shown B810-UV pod carrying ten 80 mm S-8VTs ("С-8ВЦ") unguided rockets modified for counter-drone use. The Mi-8AMTSh carries a search-and-rescue team to evacuate the Ka-52M crew if their helicopter is lost. It is also equipped with an electronic warfare system, believed to be Volna 3M ("Волна 3М"), and serves as a communications relay. #info #UAV #SAM #ATGM #EW #Mi8 #Ka52 #Air_to_Air
