House by house, street by street ➡️ Liberation of any settlement is the hardest work. The assault of Velikomikhaylovka was no exception. The enemy prepared the settlement for defence. It strengthened in residential buildings, turned the basements and buildings into concrete pillboxes. ▫️ Assault groups moved carefully fighting for street by street. There were enemy drones in the sky all the time. The commander of an assault detachment with the call sign 'Samosval' told about hostile resistance: 'We heard the sound of a Baba-Yaga hexacopter, and there was no time to use our drones. We had to down it by an SVD sniper rifle. We fired at rotors. It fell down and an ammunition explosion occurred.' 🔹 Russian Defence Ministry
